GEFEST and Standard Solutions
01

System Installation (Advantages)

Aero-Powder Fire Suppression

Lightweight canopy or container.

No heating required down to -50°C

Foam Fire Suppression

Requires a permanent building with a full set of life-support utilities.

02

Quality Control of Fire Extinguishing Agent

Aero-Powder Fire Suppression

Each manufactured batch of GEFEST-ABCE general-purpose fire extinguishing powder undergoes mandatory laboratory testing for caking, density, dispersion, moisture content, hygroscopicity and moisture resistance, flowability, fire extinguishing capability, and breakdown voltage. All tests are carried out in our own laboratory.

The powder must comply with ST RK 1611-2006

Foam Fire Suppression

Quality control of the foam concentrate is carried out in specialized accredited laboratories and includes verification of the following key parameters: appearance, density, pH level, viscosity, freezing/cloud point temperature, foam expansion ratio, foam stability (foam breakdown time), fire extinguishing efficiency, and wetting ability (for wetting agents).

03

Shelf Life of the Fire Extinguishing Agent

Aero-Powder Fire Suppression

Preventive inspection of the fire extinguishing agent (aero-powder) is carried out once every 10 years.

The shelf life of the aero-powder is 20 years.

Foam Fire Suppression

Preventive inspection of the fire extinguishing agent (foam) is carried out once every 12 months.

The shelf life of the working solution is 3 years.

04

Periodic Maintenance

Aero-Powder Fire Suppression

Maintenance of automation systems in accordance with the manufacturer’s regulations, visual inspection for absence of external damage, leaks, and contamination.

Foam Fire Suppression

Annual maintenance: comprehensive inspection of the entire system, including verification of primary and backup water supply, monitoring water pressure and flow. Complete inspection and, if necessary, replacement of the foam concentrate if the expiration date has passed or quality does not meet standards. Inspection and calibration of all measuring instruments: pressure gauges, flow meters.

05

Disposal of the Fire Extinguishing Agent

Aero-Powder Fire Suppression

Residual fire extinguishing powder is collected and placed into containers. The powder can be reused as raw material for fertilizer production. Environmentally safe and harmless.

Foam Fire Suppression

Foam disposal involves collection and temporary storage, identification of the foam concentrate type, and engagement of specialized disposal companies.
